Choose Transcription when uploading. Review the timestamped text, correct recognition errors, and export SRT or VTT subtitles for your workflow. Audio uploads can be transcribed; video is needed for video clips. Explore Transcription.
Use Auto Clips to find suggested moments in a video. Select a moment that makes sense on its own, adjust timing and framing, review captions, and render the clip. Review each result before sharing; suggestions do not predict audience performance. Explore Auto Clips.
Kliption transcribes English and many other languages at real quality, including Nepali, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Mixed-language speech may need extra editing. This is not a promise of every language or a full translation workflow. The upload interface supports MP4, MOV, and WebM video and, for transcription, audio such as MP3, WAV, and M4A. The interface allows files up to 5 GB, subject to remaining storage and processing limits; codec compatibility also matters. Video export offers MP4 and MOV; subtitle export offers SRT and VTT.
Review the video preview before rendering, then download completed renders from Exports. Keep local copies you want to retain. Free video exports include a watermark and are limited to 720p. Compare plan limits.
Free hosted files are deleted after 7 days, with a warning 3 days before. Paid storage is kept while subscribed; returning to Free starts a new 7-day window. Downloaded copies remain yours.
