Podcast-to-clips workflow

One video podcast can contain several useful short-form stories. Build a repeatable review workflow around the recording, rather than publishing every automatic suggestion unchanged.

1. Start with the video and reviewed transcript

Use a video podcast recording when you want filmed clips. Check that both participants can be seen and heard. Generate or reuse its transcript, then correct the names and recurring terms. Audio-only episodes can be transcribed, but they do not supply the picture needed for this workflow.

2. Choose moments with a beginning and an end

Review Auto Clips suggestions for a useful answer, a clear lesson, or a complete story. Watch the surrounding exchange so a clipped answer does not lose its context. Adjust the start and end to avoid half a question, a cut-off sentence, or an ending that needs the next minute to make sense.

3. Prepare one version before scaling up

Choose an aspect ratio, inspect the framing, and correct captions. Preview the clip with audio, then silently to check readability. Render one version and watch the downloaded result before preparing more. If your plan includes Brand Kit, apply your saved preferences and still review their placement on each new shot.

4. Keep a publishing record

Give each clip a useful project name and save the finished file locally. Note which full episode it came from and which destination it was prepared for. Review available render, export, and storage capacity before producing several versions. A good workflow improves consistency; it does not guarantee audience reach.

Before you publish

  • Video source is available.
  • Each clip is understandable without the episode.
  • Names, timing, and framing are reviewed.
  • One complete export is checked before making more.

Try the workflow with your own recording
