How to turn a webinar into short clips
A good webinar clip answers one question or explains one useful idea on its own. Clip suggestions help you find candidates; your review decides whether the moment makes sense without the full presentation.
1. Prepare the webinar recording
Upload the video for Auto Clips. Use a recording in which the speaker and any necessary slides are visible. Review the transcript first when possible, since correcting names and terms helps you evaluate what each suggested moment actually says.
2. Select a complete idea
Watch each candidate with a few seconds of surrounding context. Adjust its boundaries to include the setup and conclusion. Avoid cutting a qualifying phrase off a claim or starting with an unexplained “this.” Prefer a useful answer over an isolated dramatic sentence that changes the speaker’s meaning.
3. Reframe and caption the clip
Choose the aspect ratio for your intended destination. A vertical crop can hide slide text, so inspect the whole clip, not just its first frame. Review captions and render the selected version. Check the downloaded result before publishing. Clip renders and video exports use separate plan allowances; inspect Usage before making many variants.
Before you publish
- The clip makes sense independently.
- Slides and the speaker remain visible.
- Captions include the complete thought.
- The export plays correctly from start to finish.
